Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cresskill, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids shall be submitted on the provided proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond drawn to the order of the "Cresskill Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond for public works projects in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. A. Project Description: Project name is Boiler Replacment at: Edward H. Bryan School & Merritt Memorial School for the Cresskill Public Schools Board of Education and further identified as B | W | S Project No. 4555 on the Contract Documents prepared by B | W | S Architects. B. This Section Includes the Following: 1. Replacement of existing boilers at Edward H. Bryan School. 2. Replacement of existing boilers at Merritt Memorial School Edward H. Bryan School, 51 Brookside Avenue & Merritt Memorial School, 1 Dogwood Lane Should any error, omissions, inconsistencies, or obscure wording appear or occur in the Drawings and Specifications, or should there be any discrepancies between Drawings and Specifications, the Bidder shall, before submitting its bid, apply to the Architect in writing Requests received by the Architect later than April 29, 2026 may not be considered.
