Roscommon County Road Commission is requesting a price quote for the furnishing of materials and delivery of a 15 foot 1 inch (Span) by 5 foot 8 inch (Rise) by 45 foot (Length) Aluminum Box Culvert, full bottom, headwalls and wingwalls with approximate 2 foot of cover. Design must be in accordance with the current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications HL-93 loading. Fabricator is required to have a valid AISC Certified Bridge Fabricator - Simple is required for the aluminum culvert fabrication. After award of the bid, Fabricator to furnish the following: Furnish shop drawings of the culvert for approval in accordance with subsection 104.02 of the Standard Specifications for Construction, as applicable. Sign and seal the submittal by a State of Michigan, licensed Professional Engineer. Include in the shop drawings the details of the physical dimensions, material specifications, method of manufacture, method of joining adjacent culvert elements, recommended installation procedures, design assumptions, compliance and application of the design live loads, and design calculations.
