The City of Fort Myers is seeking submittals for ITB 25-078 John Yarbrough Linear Park (JYLP) Trail Construction from Colonial Blvd. to Hanson St. (Sun Trail 447515-1-54-01). Construction of a 12' wide asphalt shared use path extending from the existing John Yarbrough Linear Trail (JYLP) termination point south of SR 884/Colonial Boulevard, extending north 1.83 miles to Hanson Street. Construction shall generally include installation of new shared use path, 139' prefabricated steel bridge structure over Ten Mile Canal, 912' multi-span steel bridge structure, including prestressed concrete beams and a 215' prefabricated steel truss (Span 5) over SR 884/Colonial Blvd., bridge piers and end bents founded on prestressed concrete piles, MSE retaining walls, grading, drainage, sidewalk, signage, and pavement marking improvements.
