The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials to seal bridge decks, approach slabs, sidewalks, and medians with methacrylate and silane sealant to preserve the concrete and extend the bridge element service life. All proposed improvements outlined in the contract documents shall be adjusted in the field to avoid any and all existing aerial and underground utility facilities, this includes private utility facilities. All existing utility facilities will remain in place and active throughout the duration of the contract. No working/existing utility facilities can be taken out of service. The contractor must use care when performing all temporary and permanent work to avoid impact to underground and overhead utilities.
