Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of electric Substation No. 2. The Project includes site work, site utilities, bituminous and concrete pavements and sidewalks, erosion and sediment control, site restoration, construction of a utility distribution substation including switchyard, foundations, fencing, equipment and wiring, installation of a separately-furnished substation power transformer, construction of a masonry switchgear building, 15kV distribution switchgear, mechanical HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and miscellaneous and incidental work as described in the Bidding Documents. Bids shall be made on the forms attached to and made a part of the proposed contract documents, in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders, and endorsed with the bidder's name and project name City Project 2023-06 Substation No. 2 Contract 2 Substation Construction. Each Bid shall be accompanied by all forms listed in the Instructions to Bidders and a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Buffalo in the amount of 5-percent, as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into an Agreement with the City. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days from the date of opening of Bids. The City reserves the right to accept any Bid, or to reject any or all Bids.
