The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed elevator service companies to provide annual inspection, maintenance and repair service of elevators in all school and municipal buildings. All General Bids must be accompanied by a copy of a Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) "Certificate of Eligibility" (DCAMM Form CQ-7) and a "Contractor Update Statement" (DCAMM Form CQ-3). The category of work for which the Bidder must be certified is: Elevators. Bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price in the form of certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond in the total bid amount will be required of awarded contractor. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 and to the minimum prevailing wage rates.
