The works consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and construct an asphalt paving local road improvement via paving approximately 16,000 square yards of asphalt in uniform thickness, resurfaced gravel shoulders, removing and replacing concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk gap closures on the south side and performing other associated work as itemized in the proposal. A bid bond payable to the City of Sterling Heights, Macomb County, Michigan, in amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds. Question Deadline 05/07/2026 Explanations desired by bidders shall be requested of the City in writing, and if explanations are necessary, a reply will be made in the form of a Bulletin, a copy of which will be forwarded to each bidder whose work is affected. Every request for such explanation shall be in writing addressed to: City Engineer, 40555 Utica Road, P.O. Box 8009, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48311-8009.
