The completed Work will provide Owner with an upgraded Cedar Lane Pump Station No. 32 by removing the existing building and installing submersible pumps, a new valve vault, and outdoor electrical/control panels. The project also includes, but is not limited to 1. Installation of a temporary bypass pumping and alarm system to maintain sewer flows while station and/or inlet manhole are out of service. 2. Demolition of a. Wet well equipment (piping, floats, ladders, lights, and railings). b. Brick and block building superstructure and roof. c. Concrete slab above the wet-well and pump pedestals. d. Pumps, piping, and HVAC. e. Electrical panels, conduit, and wire. 3. Site clearing, grubbing, and tree removal. 4. Installation of a. Wet-well and manhole coating system; wet well concrete cover slab with access hatches (includes fall protection grating) and a separate concrete valve vault. b. Wet-well submersible pumps and rail system and discharge, emergency suction, and vent piping. c. Discharge piping from the new wet-well pumps to a new valve vault, valve vault check and isolation valves, and valve vault sump pump. d. Control panel, transducer and stilling well, floats, and flow meters. e. Electrical power and pump starter panels, manual transfer switch and generator receptacle, conduit, and wire. f.
