Bids are requested for 2026 Street Improvements for the City of Ashby. Major contract items include: removal of bituminous pavement (1,100 SY), milling of bituminous surface (1.5") (215 SY), common excavation (540 CY), select granular borrow (350 CY), aggregate base Class 5 (190 CY), bituminous mixture (1,850 TON), and concrete curb and gutter (250 LF). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond acceptable to the Owner in an amount of at least five percent of the total bid, payable without condition to the Owner. If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract or provide bond as required, the check or bond is forfeited as liquidated damages.
