Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Winona, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all labor and materials required for construction for the City of Winona. Major items of work include: sidewalk removal (7,642 square feet), construction of 4-inch sidewalk (6,436 square feet), construction of 6-inch sidewalk (1,206 square feet), concrete pavement 8-inch (10 square yards), curb removal (271 linear feet), and construction of curb and gutter (271 linear feet). The project area is from the west end of the City to Cummings Street. Bidders must submit proposals for the marked sidewalk panels within this area. Proposals must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding ONLY; no paper bids will be accepted. Bids must be made on the proposal forms furnished. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Winona. Within ten days after the contract is awarded, the contractor must furnish a bond executed by a surety company approved by the owner in the full amount of the contract, with a term of two years from the date of final acceptance.
