Reference Number 0000421346 Sullivan MS HVAC Systems Replacement - The District is seeking competitively sealed bids for HVAC Systems replacement at Sullivan Middle School. This project will include Kitchen Unit Ventilator & Condenser Replacement as well as a Gymnasium RTU Replacement. Location- 1825 Eden Terrace Rock Hill, SC 29730 The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the turnkey, like-forlike replacement of two (2) existing Trane Split System Unit Ventilators and two (2) corresponding outdoor condensing units. MECHANICAL SCOPE o Demolition: Recover all refrigerants from both indoor and outdoor units per EPA regulations and return to Rock Hill School District HVAC Department. Remove existing unit ventilators and outdoor condensing units from the premises. o Installation: Supply and install two (2) new unit ventilators and two (2) matching outdoor condensing units. o Linesets: Flush, clean, and pressure test existing refrigerant linesets with dry nitrogen to ensure compatibility with new equipment and R-410A (or current standard) refrigerant. o Components: Install new thermal expansion valves (TXV) and liquid line filter driers for each system. o Condensate: Reconnect and verify proper drainage for indoor unit condensate. ELECTRICAL AND CONTROLS o Power: Reconnect existing 480VAC, 3-Phase power to the new indoor electric heat sections and outdoor condensers. o Factory Controls: Units must be supplied with Factory Furnished and Factory Installed (FF/FI) DDC controllers. o Niagara 4 Integration: Controls must be fully compatible with the school's existing Niagara 4 legacy system for centralized scheduling and monitoring. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the turnkey, like-forlike replacement of three (3) existing Aaon Rooftop Units (RTUs) serving the Gymnasium at Sullivan Middle School. MECHANICAL SCOPE o Recover refrigerant from existing units in accordance with EPA regulations and turn over to Rock Hill Schools HVAC department. o Disconnection and removal of existing RTUs from the roof. o Supply and installation of three (3) new Aaon units with equivalent performance specifications. o Provision of crane and rigging services for unit removal and installation. o Verification of curb compatibility; supply and install curb adapters if required. o Reconnection of natural gas piping, including new sediment traps and shut-off valves. o Installation of new UV-resistant condensate traps and drainage.
