The work includes soffit replacement at Washington Elementary School, located at 2245 Fairmont Dr., Hanford, California 93230. This involves replacement of existing plaster soffits (previously removed) with new metal soffit panels, replacement of selected plaster wall finish with new metal wall panels, and modernization of one existing set of restrooms. At John F. Kennedy Junior High, Lee Richmond Elementary, and Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary Schools, the work consists of minor plaster demolition, replacement, and painting. Bids must be in lump sum form. Instructions to bidders include the following: Bids must be sealed and submitted with all required attachments, including a subcontractor's list. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid acceptance. Within 24 hours of bid opening, the apparent low bidder must submit completed DIR information and DVBE documentation. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid is required.
