Site work and paving for a road / highway in Greenwood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Greenwood is requesting sealed bids for asphalt paving. The bids and measurements include the following: Bid 1 covers N. Reese Avenue and Hunt Street, specifically N. Reese Street (700' x 32') and Hunt Street (475' x 32'). The work will include milling 1.5 inches of existing asphalt along the curb edge, paving a 1.5 inch overlay, milling 4 feet wide along each curb line to match into the existing curb, milling butt joints as needed (3), sweeping, applying a tack coat, and overlay paving with WisDOT Spec. Type 4 LT58-28S asphalt mix, compacted to an average thickness of 1.5 inches in one lift. Bid 2 consists of miscellaneous patching. Each bid item should be priced by the unit price per ton. Traffic control signing and flagging are required as needed per bid item. The City of Greenwood will supply a dump truck for millings and provide utility adjustments as needed. The City of Greenwood reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
