Renovation of a detention facility in Benton, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Plumbing Retrofit at the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility (Project No. 2026-101). Prime bidders must obtain an original set of bidding documents from the public entity or the design professional. Bid submissions must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check payable to Bossier Parish Police Jury in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, written by an approved surety or insurance company. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form provided, sealed, and clearly marked with the project name and number, including the contractor's license number. Contractors must possess a current license with a Major Classification of General Contractor or Plumbing Contractor. Executed copies of the Non-Collusion Declaration and Felony Conviction / E-Verify Affidavit must be submitted within ten (10) days of the bid opening. The Bossier Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
