The project involves the Double Chip sealing of 5,280 feet of Engoe Road, starting at Viater Road toward Brevak Road. The work includes preparing the road for double sealing, bar sealing cracked areas, double sealing the 22-foot wide pavement, and providing all necessary traffic control and incidentals to complete the project. Major quantities include 12,900 square yards of double sealcoat, traffic control, and incidental items. All contracting procedures, work, and materials must conform to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2025 edition. Engineer certification is required according to Wisconsin DOT Local Road Improvement Program requirements with a ten-year certification if the project cost exceeds $65,000. Certification of insurance from the successful bidder must be received before the project begins. The project must be completed by September 30, 2026, and a late penalty of $750 per day will be assessed starting October 1, 2026. The Town of Washburn reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any information in the bidding process, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
