Sealed bids are invited for the Community Development Block Grant Project titled "CLARKS SUMMIT BOROUGH HILLSIDE PARK PAVILION CONCRETE PROJECT." The project generally consists of full-depth and overlay paving, with an expected duration of 60 days. Bids must be submitted with a bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. All questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted in writing. Bidders are required to submit all forms listed in the attachments to the plans and specifications, along with documentation of solicitations and commitments for minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns. Compliance with all relevant state and federal statutes, rules, and regulations—including prevailing wage rates, nondiscrimination in hiring, and employment verification requirements—is required. Lackawanna County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. For additional requirements, bidders should refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents.
