Site work and new construction of a medical facility in West Union, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 25,000-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The scope of work consists of providing comprehensive architectural and engineering design services for a 25,000 square foot outpatient medical facility. Services include pre-design (project programming, space planning, site evaluation, code review, cost estimates, stakeholder coordination, and conceptual layouts), schematic design (floor and site plans, building systems, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts, and initial cost opinion), design development (detailed architectural design, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, medical equipment planning coordination, and updated cost estimate), preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, interdisciplinary coordination, permitting, and regulatory compliance), bidding and procurement support (assisting with contractor procurement, responding to questions, preparing addenda, and bid evaluation), and construction administration (shop drawing and submittal review, site visits, construction observation, RFIs, change order review, and punch list review).
