Major quantities of the work include clearing and grubbing; unclassified excavation; removal of existing pavement; installation of geotextile and geogrid; concrete curb and gutter, 30-inch, Type D; crushed aggregate base course; breaker run; asphaltic pavement; concrete sidewalk; concrete driveway; installation of 8-inch to 10-inch SDR 35 sanitary sewer; 8 inch AWWA C900 PVC watermain; and 12-inch to 36-inch RCP storm sewer. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project may be funded in part with local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funding. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act requirements, and all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. Contractors shall be required to comply with minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements apply.
