The work consists of demolishing the existing fan coil unit and providing an in-kind replacement fan coil unit relocated above Room 20 and an adjacent room. The contractor shall provide new ductwork, piping, direct digital controls, and all other mechanical and support work required for the fan coil unit replacement and relocation. The scope includes demolition of entire ceilings in Rooms 19 and 20 to support mechanical work, followed by installation of new ceilings in both rooms. Existing light fixtures shall be demolished and replaced with new LED fixtures, with reuse of existing lighting circuits and controls. All work shall be performed in accordance with the applicable specifications, drawings, and contract requirements under the existing IDIQ/MACC contract. Location: Building 513, Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Time for completion: Contract completion date is 540 calendar days. The days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed.
