Site work and paving for a transportation facility in West Union, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The proposed project consists of the following work: Rehabilitate Runway 5-23 (Crack Repair, Seal Coat, Marking), including temporary airfield control, asphalt pavement removal, crack sealing, prime coat, asphalt paving, tack coat, surface preparation, thermoplastic coal tar emulsion microsurfacing, temporary markings, permanent markings, and other incidentals. Engineer's estimate by more than twenty percent: $328,040.50. Question Deadline 05/04/2026 Prospective bidders shall submit written requests of said questions to the Engineer, at least five (5) working days before the bid opening date. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Sealed proposals are requested for work at the Alexander Salamon Airport in West Union, Ohio, specifically to rehabilitate Runway 5-23, which includes crack repair, seal coat, and marking. Digital copies of the contract documents, including all forms and requirements, are available at no charge from Stantec Consulting Services Inc. Physical copies are available for a non-refundable fee. Prospective bidders must obtain these documents from Stantec and be listed on the bid register to submit a bid. Bids must be submitted using the proposal forms in these documents. Bids should be accompanied by a combined bid guaranty and contract bond for 100 percent of the bid amount, or a certified or cashier's check for 10 percent, with a contract bond for 100 percent required from the successful bidder. The work is subject to various federal requirements as listed in the special provisions, and also subject to Ohio state requirements on corporate licensing and service location disclosure. No award will be made if it exceeds the engineer's estimate by more than 20 percent. The right is reserved to waive informalities or reject any or all proposals.
