Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed bids are requested for the improvement project at Walnut Creek Regional Park Splashpad, 4100 Walnut Creek Regional Park Access Road, under the jurisdiction of the City of Urbandale. Each bid must include bid security guaranteeing that, if selected, the bidder will enter into a contract and provide a corporate surety bond for the full contract amount. The bid security must equal 10% of the total bid amount, including all add alternates, and may be a cashier's check, certified check, certified share draft, or a bid bond on the provided form. No additional conditions are allowed on the bid security, except as provided by law. Contractors and subcontractors must not include sales tax for material purchases; certificates of exemption will be issued after contract acceptance. The City will ensure that minority business enterprises have full opportunity to bid and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin. Failure to submit a completed Bidder Status Form may result in rejection of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
