The purpose is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Contract to provide an indefinite quantity of Brand Specific Generac Industrial Generators and generator parts for use at the NC Highway Patrol’s Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders (VIPER) Project Towers on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee of any minimum or maximum quantities under this contract. Generac generators and components have been used in the construction of all VIPER tower sites, and currently all 241 tower sites are equipped with Generac generators. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions stated, and vendors are responsible for complying with all requirements, specifications, and any addenda issued. Vendors must read and comply with all instructions, terms, exhibits, attachments, and addenda. Any questions or exceptions regarding the IFB must be submitted as stipulated, and changes will only be communicated through an addendum if applicable.
