Sealed proposals are being requested for BID NO. 26G26, for dredging at Venetian Boat Ramp, Venetian Shores Park, Lindenhurst. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Town of Babylon, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid comparison price. An apprenticeship program approved by the NYS Dept. of Labor is required for all projects in excess of $250,000.00 and applies to all prime contracts and their respective sub-contracts for all trades necessary to complete the work. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Town of Babylon encourages minority and women owned businesses to participate in all bids. Bids must not be accepted after the specified deadline, and no pages are to be removed from the bid documents; all bids are to be submitted intact.
