Site work and paving for a civil project in Somers, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Pulverize/mill the existing pavement, repave with asphalt, pavement marking, and culvert replacements for 45th Street, 46th Place, 48th Street, 50th Street, 63rd Avenue, and 64th Avenue. Approximately 17,200 SY, and other miscellaneous items of work. All bidders shall comply with the Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Somers requiring prequalification of bidders prior to obtaining bidding documents or submitting bids or to act as a contractor or subcontractor on any public improvement project. An application for qualification form may be obtained from the Village of Somers at 7511-12th Street (CTH E), Somers, WI 53171 or at the Village website at www.somerswi.gov. All bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to the Village of Somers for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as provided in the instructions to bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the bidding documents.
