Construction of a new multi-company fire station with structural and Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) apparatus bays. The facility will include apparatus bays, residential spaces, administrative offices, training areas, a consolidated emergency dispatch area, emergency medical services areas, fire reserve space, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, uninterruptible power supply systems, standby generator, and Energy Monitoring and Control Systems connections. Supporting work includes site development; utilities and service connections; exterior lighting; paving, parking, walks, curbs, and gutters; storm drainage; information systems infrastructure; landscaping; signage; and an agent storage facility. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained systems. The project includes demolition of one existing building, implementation of Department of Defense minimum antiterrorism standards, comprehensive interior design and furnishings, full accessibility for individuals with disabilities, integrated cybersecurity measures, and sustainability and energy-efficiency features. The facility will be designed for a minimum service life of 40 years in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria, including enhanced building envelope performance and integrated building systems. The estimated magnitude of construction for the project is between $50,000,000 and $80,000,000.
