Consultant Services-Wastewater Lift Station SCADA Upgrades The City of Redding Public Works Department-Wastewater Utility (City) is soliciting proposals to provide consultant services for upgrading the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The City's system includes 21 sites, comprised of lift stations, a flow monitoring station, and two solid waste gas extraction systems. To alleviate systemwide SCADA and hardware deficiencies and to add necessary remote monitoring and alarm notification capabilities, the City is seeking proposals from highly qualified firms to provide professional services related to software procurement, development, testing, documentation, integration, remote access, and alarm notifications associated with a turnkey SCADA system. This project is funded by the Wastewater Utility, with the total project cost estimated to be $300,000 including equipment purchasing, installation and programming. The consultant services contract is expected to be awarded in July 2026 and is anticipated to be no longer than twelve (12) months. Any consultant responding to this RFP must be willing to commit the necessary resources to the project to conform to the proposed schedule. Interested Consultants are invited to submit qualifications in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Proposals (RFP). The proposer shall provide the original (unbound), four (4) bound copies and a USB drive with a PDF copy of the proposal. Electronic submission of proposals will not be allowed. One (1) set of the Fee Proposal is to be submitted in a separate, sealed envelope. The City will award any resulting contract in a manner consistent with the City Purchasing Ordinance.
