Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The contractor shall furnish all bonds, proof of insurance, labor, materials, clean-up, and guarantee to remove and replace the Suites I roof. All material will be of professional grade and quality and will be installed according to manufacturer guidelines. The work must be completed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless advance arrangements are made with the Director of Facilities. Contractors are responsible for field verifying all measurements and existing conditions. Contractors must be licensed in the city where the work is performed, comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to all owner policies, including maintaining proper decorum and conduct while on the property. A 5% bid bond is required. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 30 days after bid opening. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. Iowa Western Community College is sales tax exempt, and exemption certificates will be issued. Sales tax should not be included in bids.
