Perform a ballast bypass and installation of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) LED lamps into existing interior light fixtures. The Project consists of: The Contractor shall provide all labor and equipment necessary to perform a ballast bypass and installation of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) LED lamps into existing interior light fixtures. This work includes the removal of existing fluorescent lamps and ballasts, rewiring of fixtures to connect line voltage directly to the lamp sockets (tombstones), and ensuring all completed fixtures are safe and fully operational while maintaining the integrity of the original fixture housing. The Contractor is also solely responsible for the safe removal, transportation, and disposal or recycling of all old lamps and ballasts. Upon completion, the Contractor must provide the owner with a formal receipt of disposal or certificate of recycling from a licensed facility to document proper environmental compliance. Authorized work hours are strictly limited to Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Prior authorization from District is needed if Contractor would like to work on weekends.
