Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,500-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Pasquotank County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the construction of a 30' x 50' maintenance building at Newland Park. The bidder shall provide all labor, materials, tools, permits, and supervision to complete the building. The work includes the installation of a 4-inch thick, 3,500 PSI concrete slab foundation, a 20' x 30' concrete slab in front of the building, and a sidewalk. Construction will consist of a metal framework structure, metal exterior siding, and a blue metal roof to match existing park structures. The building will feature two standard 3' x 7' doors, one 12' x 12' electric roll-up garage door, and two windows for the office. Building systems include insulation for the shop and office areas, a full electrical installation, and a mini-split HVAC system for the office. Interior work involves constructing one enclosed office space measuring approximately 12' x 10'.
