Site work for a water / sewer project in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the construction of upgrades to the Foreman Bundy Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to a capacity of 3.0 MGD. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Chemical Feed Building, Chemical Feed Equipment, Grinder Pump Station, Vertical Turbine Pumps, Aerator (Degasifier), Site Piping and Improvements, Electrical, Mechanical, WTP Analyzer, and SCADA. The duration for the project is expected to be 360 days. Bidders must comply with a goal of ten percent (10%) participation for minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises in construction contracts, as per NCGS 143-128. Bidders are required to be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina. Small, minority, and women's businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents.
