The County of Refugio is requesting proposals from firms interested in providing design and construction of a single recirculating splash pad for the Refugio County Nature Based Kayak Park Coastal Access Project Phase 1. The Turnkey Splashpad Project will consist of providing services for design, material and construction for a Splashpad. Question Deadline 05/08/2026 at 4:00 PM CT SCOPE OF PROJECT The County of Refugio is planning to construct the following single recirculating Splashpad at the Mission River Park to include but not limited to the following criteria, materials, specifics and design. The contractor shall provide design, materials, automated control system, water distribution system, concrete, artificial turf, electrical, incidentals, and labor to furnish a complete single recirculating Splashpad with recommended square feet wet area ready for use, turnkey. All materials shall be new and free from defects. All available aquatic features should be included in design but presented as options. The contractorshall provide all items necessary to completely construct the project described. Equipment shall be located within an enclosed area using a chain link fence, concrete surface all around wet area. Please include a project timeline by phase and shall include all contingency factors likely to impact the ability of the offeror to complete the project by any specific date.
