The City of Greenville is seeking Proposals for design and construction phase services for the Airport Sewer Abandonment Relocation. As part of the Airport Improvement/Woods Lake Road Project, the airport runway extension requires construction of a bridge/tunnel across Woods Lake Road with a subsequent lowering of Woods Lake Road to accommodate traffic. Therefore, the existing sewer system cannot be rehabilitated and requires relocation to continue service to existing customers. City believes it is in the community's best interest to assist minority- and women-ownedbusinessenterprises (M/WBEs) to develop fully, in furtherance of the City's policies andprogramswhichare designed to promote balanced economic and community growth. City adopts the StateofSouthCarolina's goal for participation of M/WBEs: 10% of annual controllable procurementexpenditures, which are defined as agreements between the City and its contractors toprovideorprocure labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and services to, for, or on behalf of theCity. Verify underground utility locations to include using ground penetrating radar andtest holes. Geotechnical investigation to determine the presence of rock . Sanitary Sewer system design . Permit application packages from South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES), SC DOT, and City of Greenville (Stormwater) . Preparation of 30%, 70%, 90% and 100% construction plans . Preparation of soil erosion and sediment control plans . Preparation of traffic control plan, if needed . Preparing detailed construction schedule of values and specifications .
