Site work for a development in Ellis, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The project will focus on in-stream fish habitat restoration in the Pahsimeroi River near May, Idaho. Project construction includes floodplain excavation, side channel construction, installation of large woody debris structures, bank roughening structures, riffle construction, bank scallops, racking placement, relic beaver dam installation, and riparian bench construction. All proposals must adhere to applicable labor and employment requirements, with all craftsmen and laborers being paid at least the minimum prevailing wage rate determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. A State of Idaho Public Works Contractor's License is required if the bid exceeds $50,000, and all subcontractors and their license numbers must be listed if the total project value exceeds $50,000. A bid bond amounting to five percent of the bid is required. Bidders must demonstrate the ability to obtain a Public Works Contractor's License prior to submitting a proposal if they do not currently have one. Proposals will be reviewed and ranked by a committee comprising representatives from project partners.
