Renovation of an educational facility in Dearborn, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
General Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for a Roofing Project at locations on the North Platte R-I School District Campus at 212 West 6th Street, Dearborn, MO 64439 and 300 Scout Street, Camden Point, MO 64018. Instructions to bidders and project specifications are available by email request to the superintendent or by viewing the district website. The contractor shall: _ Be responsible for demolition, removal, and proper disposal of specified existing roof system, flashings, sheet metals, and accessories and prepare to receive new roofing per specifications and roofing manufacturer recommendations (see building roof plans document) _ Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for complete installation of new 60 mil TPO or equivalent roofing systems, including but not limited to any required flashings, sealants, roof vents, trim, penetration flashings, decking build-up, cover board, insulation and drain assemblies as required by manufacturer specifications. _ Remove and reinstall existing mechanical units, ductwork, conduits, and all rooftop appurtenances as required to complete their scope of work and reconnect and return them to working order. _ Be responsible for temporary roof framing support for HVAC curbs as required to install new roofing system. _ Contractor shall be responsible for protecting existing downspouts, guttering, trim from damage during construction _ Contractor shall be responsible for protecting the parking lot and building from damage caused by demolition, removal and disposal of roofing materials. _ Contractor will be responsible for following all OSHA rules and regulations _ District Building access to contractors will be limited _ Contractors shall provide their own access to power, utilities and restroom for employees for the duration of the project.
