Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in West Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct pedestrian and roadway improvements along F Street between 5th Street and 6th Street, and at the intersection of 5th Street and F Street, as shown on the plans and specified in the contract documents. The project generally includes the construction of new sidewalk to close existing gaps, installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, curb, gutter, and crosswalk improvements, and installation of new street lighting. Work also includes landscaping and irrigation improvements designed to complement the aesthetic of improvements within the Washington District. In addition, the project includes installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of 5th Street and F Street. Additional work includes demolition and removal of existing improvements, traffic control, utility coordination, surface restoration, pavement repair, striping, and all related work necessary to complete the project. All work will occur within existing City right-of-way and shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and applicable standards. The bid specifications, including instructions on how to bid, standards for a responsive bid, and project specifications, are attached in the referenced attachments and are incorporated by reference as if set forth in full. Question Submission Deadline:May 5, 2026, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline:May 7, 2026, 2:00pm A Proposer may submit Questions related to this ITB to the City through online. Contractor Selection Date:June 17, 2026 The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive variances in a Proposal, provided such action is in the best interest of the City. Where the City waives variances in a Proposal, such waiver does not modify the ITB requirements or excuse the Proposer from full compliance with the ITB. Notwithstanding any variance, the City may hold any Proposer to strict compliance with the ITB.
