Cobb County Government (“County”) is seeking statements of professional qualifications from experienced and qualified vendors (“Vendor”) to add additional departments/facilities to our enterprise video surveillance and access control systems as well as perform any upgrades required. The video surveillance and access control systems installed in our facilities are Avigilon Control Center (ACC) versions 6.x and 7.x and Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM) version 6.6.0.11. We currently have 924 card readers throughout the county and over 1,800 surveillance cameras with 170 NVRs. It is the County’s goal to continue on this single enterprise video surveillance and access control system platform with a single access card for all facilities. No minimum or maximum amount of work is guaranteed under this solicitation, and work will be procured on an as-needed basis. Services to be provided under the solicitation may include, but not be limited to, engineering studies, pre-design and pre-construction activities, detailed design services, project management, contract administration, contract management, maintenance on installed systems and other related services. Whenever services are requested by the County, the Vendor will submit a written proposal for the specific project. The County reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, and to accept the proposal that serves the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to seek the services of other vendors, not included in this agreement, for projects requiring specialized or unique services. Once the pre-qualified vendors have been identified through the RFQ process, the County will enter into a Master Agreement with the pre-qualified vendor(s) for up to a five (5) year term. The pre-qualified vendors will have the opportunity to bid on individual projects to replace existing end-of-life systems or when new security requirements are needed. In accordance with existing County procurement policies, the Information Services Department will return to the Board of Commissioners for approval of each individual contract award.
