Site work for a water / sewer project in Castleton, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project generally consists of lowering the dam crest by removing 2 to 3 1/2 ft. (vertical) of concrete over a length of approximately 80 ft., removing up to 100 cubic yards of sediment and spreading the sediment on adjacent uplands, removing or treating invasive knotweed, and turf establishment and seeding. Bids will be received for a single, prime Contract for a lump sum cost. Work start is anticipated on or about July 6, 2026 and substantial completion is to be achieved by August 7, 2026. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to email PDF versions of all documents to specified email addresses by the deadline and refer to Section 200 Instructions to Bidders for complete submission requirements.
