The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority is planning a large-scale commercial redevelopment on approximately 46 acres of vacant land along Col. Eileen Collins Boulevard at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. The concept envisions up to 14 new commercial buildings, including a gas station and convenience store, multiple hotels, restaurants, drive-through retail uses, and mixed-use commercial buildings. The Authority intends to lease individual parcels to private developers, who would finance, construct, and operate the facilities under long-term ground leases.
