This project consists of the construction of a new Pump Station for Municipal Injection Wells at the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant (CDWWTP). This project is one in a series of projects that are being processed under County Code Section 2-8.2.12, entitled Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department Consent Decree and Capital Improvement Programs Acceleration Ordinance. Estimated Range of the Base Bid - $168,730,400.06 to $204,154,461.95, not including contingency and dedicated allowances. Project Duration: 1,131 Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, 1,191 Calendar Days to Final Completion, plus a 119 Calendar Day Contingency Period. The WORK consists of the construction of the Municipal Injection Well Pump Station; construction of Plant Effluent Loop piping; construction of wellhead pads and installation of wellhead piping and equipment for nine (9) Class I municipal deep injection wells (drilled by others); piping to connect the Plant Effluent Loop to the nine new deep injection wells; construction of wellhead pads and installation of wellhead piping and equipment for four (4) monitoring wells; construction of thirteen (13) well houses to house the well instruments and RTU of each well; preparation and final grading and drainage of six (6) sludge drying beds; and associated yard piping at the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant (CDWWTP). The CDWWTP is owned by the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) and it is located at 3989 Rickenbaker Causeway, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. The design and drilling of the nine Class I municipal deep injection wells is part of a separate contract and is not included in this scope of work. The design and drilling of the four monitoring wells is part of a separate contract and is not included in this scope of work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
