Description

Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Missoula, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool; and for the demolition of a recreation facility.

The City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the demolition, disposal, and installation of a new plaster finish for the pool and spa at the Currents Aquatics Center. The facility, which opened in 2006, is having its pool and spa fully replastered for the first time. The existing plaster finish has reached the end of its lifespan, exhibiting wear, rust seepage from rebar, and exposed Gunite shell. The project is scheduled to be completed during a three-week facility shutdown.
