Approximately 2,718 Lf of Hastings Circle Will Be Reconstructed From Hastings Rd to 500 Ft East of Webb Rd. The Project Will Also Consist of Approximately 2,297 Lf of Chigger Creek Dr From Choate Dr to 2,297 Ft South. Approximately, 1,931 Lf of Choate Dr Will Also Be Replaced From 450 Ft East of Hastings Rd to the Chigger Creek Dr Intersection. A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid [for Those Contracts That Exceed $100,000]. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the (Name of City/County) or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. All Contractors and Subcontractors Must Be Cleared (Not Suspended or Debarred) Prior to Any Formal Action Authorizing the Award of a Contract to the Contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and Labor Surplus Area Firms Are Encouraged to Submit Bids. Brazoria County Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (Cdbg-dr) Program and is Subject to All Applicable Federal and State Laws and Regulations. Attention is Called to the Fact That Not Less Than, the Federally Determined Prevailing Davis-bacon and Related Acts Wage Rate, as Issued by the Department of Labor and Contained in the Contract Documents, Must Be Paid on This Project.
