City of York has on file a request for proposal (RFP) for Central Park Fence. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUMMITTED BY EMAIL TO THE FOLLOWING PERSON : Cheree Folts , cfolts@cityofyork.ne.gov Questions must be submitted no later than May 7, 2026 102' long straight line 6' tall black aluminum sleek shadowbox fence with mow strip. o Support posts are required to be 4" x 4" x 9' long black aluminum post, set at 3' deep in a concrete footing. o Mow strip sized 12" wide x 6" deep to bud-up against existing concrete curb. Mow strip should be installed around the support posts and run the entire 102' of fence. Mow strip to have rebar reinforcement on both sides of the posts. o All fence fasters will be black stainless-steel. All other material should be powder coated black. o Change orders must be submitted for any deviation of work that affects the bid cost submitted by contractor. Change orders must be approved by a representative of the City of York, prior to work be completed. o Contractor must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and Nebraska Department of Water, Energy & Environment/EPA environmental guidelines o Contractor that gets awarded bid, must become a licensed contractor with the City of York, if contractor is not already licensed with City of York
