Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Bedford Hills, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 05/27/2026 Questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to George Pommer, P.E. of James J. Hahn Engineering, P.C. either through email (gpommer@hahn-eng.com) or by telephone (845-279-2220). Bidders shall promptly notify Mr. Pommer of any errors, omissions, conflicts, or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within five (5) days of bid opening. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a treatment building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site and drainage work. Additional related work includes submersible well pumps, a filtration system, a chlorination disinfection system, and an ultraviolet (UV) treatment system, as well as preparing, restoring, and cleaning the project area in accordance with the plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer and Town. The project is located adjacent to David Lapsley Road in the Town of Bedford. The project must be completed by March 31, 2027. All work performed will be subject to applicable grant requirements, and proof of adherence to MBE/WBE requirements must be provided. Bids must include the completed Bid Form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications, and Lobbying Certifications. Bids shall be made on the separate Bid Proposal Forms furnished with the Specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Town of Bedford, and endorsed with the project name. Contractors must be on the official Plan Holder List to have their bids accepted.
