The Riverdale Levee Improvement District will receive sealed bids on a General Contract for the removal of a tree and associated roots within the levee, reconstruction of the levee to its existing elevation, and debris removal from the adjacent drainage ditch. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accom-panied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Riverdale Levee Improvement District in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all ap-plicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances and regu-lations. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, choose the most qualified bidder for the Project, and to postpone award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed be-yond 90 days from the bid open-ing date.
