The Town of Bourne seeks a qualified Design/Engineering Firm to provide professional services associated with marina expansion. The Town has decided to pursue the redevelopment of a marina in the Bourne village of Monument Beach, to accommodate the needs of the Town and meet its marina goals. The project consists of building on existing physical and social infrastructure while fostering new cooperation between public, private, and nonprofit sectors to enhance existing recreational opportunities; develop additional recreational opportunities, including coastal access; create linkages between existing and proposed facilities; protect sensitive environmental and cultural resources; and ultimately foster economic development, including tourism.
