This work consists of upgrading the existing video surveillance security monitoring system at the Alvin C. York Campus of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System to provide a fully integrated and modernized platform. The project includes removal and replacement of outdated or inoperable field equipment, installation of new cameras, network video recorders, display systems, communication components, and associated infrastructure. The upgraded system shall incorporate artificial intelligence-enabled video analytics to enhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities across the campus. Work includes demolition and new construction and may involve general construction, civil, architectural, electrical, low-voltage, industrial hygiene, and related trades. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete the work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by an architectural-engineering firm. Integration with existing infrastructure requires use of brand-name Avigilon systems and equipment, and contractors must be authorized to install and service Avigilon products. The scope also includes installation of new Cisco PoE switches, patch panels, power distribution units, receptacles, fiber cabling, and Avigilon rack-mounted NVR systems with a minimum of 30 days of recording retention, coordinated with VA OIT. All work shall be phased to maintain continuous operation of existing cameras until replacements are fully operational, comply with VA, NFPA, OSHA, and Joint Commission requirements, and be performed during approved hours to minimize disruption to medical center operations. The period of performance is up to 270 calendar days, with phased bid options based on floor exclusions. Location: Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Alvin C.
