Site work for a water / sewer project in Fall River, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work includes removing 230 feet of 24-inch CMP and installing 230 feet of 24-inch RCP storm sewer pipe, restoring 500 square yards of pavement including geotextile fabric, breaker run, gravel shoulder and base, and asphalt pavement, erosion control, traffic control, and site restoration. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
