Jackson Township is requesting bids for the construction of a Community and Concessions Building, including a new concession area with covered seating, ADA men and women toilet rooms, a community room, offices, and a mechanical/janitor room. The project involves general construction, sitework (clearing, E&S controls, grading, additional sidewalks, ADA curb ramp, and restoration), and the extension of utility piping. Separate contracts are to be bid for: General Construction, HVAC Construction (furnishing and installing a forced air heating system, toilet room exhausts, kitchen hoods, and controls), Plumbing Construction (furnishing and installing water and gas distribution, fixtures, water heater, water and gas service entrances, downspouts, grease trap, and piping), and Electrical Construction (furnishing and installing electric service, lighting, power, conduit, and junction boxes for a security system). Contractors must coordinate work with other prime contractors. Bid security of not less than 10% is required. All questions must be submitted via PennBID. Bidders must submit a non-collusion affidavit and comply with state antibid-rigging regulations, environmental protection laws, and the E-Verify Act. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. All bids are irrevocable for 90 days. Jackson Township reserves the right to waive errors or reject any or all bids as deemed in its best interest.
