Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development; and hospitality development.
The scope of work includes providing all labor and equipment to remove an existing AC-2 steam coil and replace it with a new steam coil for an air handler unit located on the B2 level of Two United Nations Plaza, a Class A, mixed-use, high-rise building consisting of office and hotel tenancy. The building will be occupied and operational throughout the duration of the project and is managed by Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Instructions to bidders: Interested mechanical contractors must have a minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience, be licensed by the State of New York, have liability insurance of $5,000,000, and submit a resume of current assignments in comparable buildings in New York City. Bidders must also provide evidence of qualifications and relevant experience, including at least five references with contact information. Submission of qualifications is required by the specified due date. Qualified companies will be contacted with further instructions and details regarding a mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting.
