Site work for a water / sewer project in Vandalia, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for the furnishing of all materials, labor, administration, and equipment for the CIPP Lining of Sanitary Sewer project in the City of Vandalia, Ohio, according to the drawings, plans, and specifications available at the Director of Public Service's office. All bidding documents, including drawings, plans, and specifications, must be obtained from this office, and bidders must be on the current bidders list to qualify. A non-refundable fee of $40.00 is required for plans and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond amounting to 10% of the total bid. The contractor will be paid in accordance with the contract documents and federal requirements of the Community Development Block Grant Program, including applicable Davis-Bacon Act wages. The City of Vandalia reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality. Preference may be given to bidders located within the City of Vandalia if their bid is within 5% of the lowest bid for bids at $50,000 or less, or within 2% for bids over $50,000, provided all other evaluation criteria are met. The bidding documents which include drawings, plans and specifications may be examined and obtained at the Director of Public Service's office at 333 James E. Bohanan Memorial Drive, Vandalia, OH 45377. Documents must be acquired from the City of Vandalia and Bidder must be on the current bidders list to qualify as a legitimate bid.
